I think you will love the Loki. My knob settings from left to right are 3 PM, noon, noon, 11 AM. My only complaint is Schitt continues to use exceedingly bright on lights. Took care of that by applying a silver LightDim over it.

I was thinking, couldn't you just use a software equaliser? Like the on on foobar 2000?

Received mine along with HDVD800. Guess i can finally rest now and say its my endgame. Love the sound, but im not feeling the wide soundstage of 800 series everyone says they have.
Im no good at explainin how this sounds, if i had to say 1 word, pure.

You might give yourself some time to adjust and the headphone and the amp to break in some time.

If you listening for half hour by other hp, then switch to 800s you will feel how large soundstage

Actually that's a good thing...as many recordings do not have a wide soundstage....but listen to ones that do and all will be revealed. : )

Can anyone tell me what serial number they have and if they bought it recently/when was built? I just bought a used 800S with a SN of 10221, and am wondering how old they are. (didn't even know the 800S have sold that many)

SN 10221! Looks like yours are not too old. SN of my headphones is exactly +5000 and I bought them new just last week. I don't know...they were probably built in February/March 2018 (?) but the Certificate stored on the included USB drive was created/modified in March.
Mine are SN 140XX, the picture of the FR on the flash drive is date modified January of 2018.
Not if you are streaming from Tidal. Besides knobs are fun and Baldr thinks "Digital equalizers SUCK"
