Organza material?Hi where can I order this pls?
You can buy it at lots of places as it's an extremely common material used for all kinds of things, most times these days it's a poly-silk (should still sound same) Anyway where I bought from was my local haberdashery store, you don't need very much so cost is small can get it in all kinds of colours and different weaves as in some are more open and others tighter/closer/dense. Just search online where to buy organza if you have no local haberdashery stores.
First lot I was trying was just some organza bags I had (if my wife comes asking I never saw no fancy bags wink), like the type they use at weddings or women use in their dresser draws filled with potpourri (dried flowers etc). It's common material though used for sheer blouses/dresses...wedding dresses...some lingerie and delicate's washing bags...sheer curtains etc...You can find it all over the place.

This week I bought a used Denon DCD 1450AR in mint condition. I love the budget/midrange CD players of that era (2001-2003) in looks and built quality.Keep that CD6000KI ! It is a classic! Ken Ishiwata “tuned” (upgraded parts etc) CD players and integrated amplifiers by Marantz have excellent sound quality. FYI, Ken Ishiwata’s legacy continues, after his passing, in the ‘Tribute’ series of CD players / integrated amplifiers by Rotel.
That Denon is something special as well, its sound is very natural, easy going, possible a bit too polished in comparison with the CD6000KI and CD5000. But It has slight more weight in the sound compared to both Marantz players. The highs have less sparkle but are a bit more silky.
I could get a DCD 1550AR in mint condition as well and initially couldn't decide between the two. But the DAC used in the 1450 (PCM1702) made me go for that one, I went for tonality and naturalness of the 14550AR over detail and dynamics of the 1550AR.
The headphones out of this Denon is probably even better than that of the Marantz players.
I have to find a better place for this player though, not on top of the Marantz amp, that one needs free space to release its heat.

Perhaps stale news, but did everyone see the post in announcements that the production of the 650 and 6xx is moving back to the Ireland factory?

My 660S are Romanian, and I’d say the build quality is the same as my Irish 580/600/650, with the exception that these are matte black with no sparkly paint, for better or worse.
So.. 6XX it differnt from 650? Rtings said it has different graph.
I don't know what is true.

On the official product page of the HD650, this claim is made:So.. 6XX it differnt from 650? Rtings said it has different graph.
I don't know what is true.

On the HD6XX product page, no such claim is being made.

The 6XX and 650 are identical outside of the different colour schemes.
People often come into this thread claiming otherwise yet those people are often the very same who haven’t yet understood the importance of pads…how pad wear can change the presentation of the very same headphones..in fact so much that people will believe that the 6XX and the 650 are different headphones!
..which they are not. This has been debunked a thousand times over the net. Same drivers, same specs, same sound.
