What does stuffing the donut hole do to the sound? You do not stuff the donut?
I stuff the donut (NOT Jada’s), but I don’t use iem tips, just the foam bullets supplied by CC.You do not stuff the donut?
I have them. How does it affect the sound?I stuff the donut (NOT Jada’s), but I don’t iem tips, just the foam bullets supplied by CC.

For ME, it makes the bass sound a tad more liquid, WITHOUT the (very) slight ‘veiling’ (for lack of a better word) of the original disc. There are four different densities, as you probably noticed, so you can experiment as see what you like best - and if you prefer nothing that is a perfectly acceptable conclusion, but do try. It is TOTALLY reversible. As I think I said in an earlier post, I use the most open foam bullet for the 600s because they need the most help in the bass, and the second most open in the 580’s and 650’s. I definitely do prefer the sound with the plugs, and my OCD is placated by the fact that the foam helps keep dust out of the otherwise exposed hole in the back of the driver. What does stuffing the donut hole do to the sound?
I think that @jonathan c goes commando, on his Senns, but not certain. I do know that he removes the front foam as well, and replaces it with organza or gaberdine or bounty or something like that. I’m sure he’ll pop in eventually and clarify.I have them. How does it affect the sound?
Does @jonathan c stuff his holes?
Right you are! All foam has been removed. I have the circular foams (spider web cage) kept aside in one piece. The earside foam has been replaced with fine mesh netting (bought at Michael’s, an arts & crafts store). You have seen this photograph, so here it is again:I think that @jonathan c goes commando, on his Senns, but not certain. …a ‘hole’ new meaning to ‘plug-n-play’…I have them. How does it affect the sound?

I won't comment on this one. I had 6 posts deleted on the multiple HP's thread. Damn that Jada!…a ‘hole’ new meaning to ‘plug-n-play’…
