Yeah, I know it's kind of wierd. The headphones sound better out of the Lisa than they do out of the NAD 7175PE, but they sound better going into the receiver first and then the headphone amp.
They also sound pretty awful out of several different USB DAC setups that I tried; in fact for the most part they sound better out of the laptop jacks. But for some reason this particular Turtle Beach device works for me.
