does anyone have both 660s2 and ndh30? I would be technically interested in the differences. space, stage, imaging, transparency, resolution. I can decide between them very quickly... one day I want to put one in the basket, the next day the other.
Haha, I haven't been following this thread because it keeps turning into "NDH-30 owners crap on 660S2" just as the 660S thread suffered from at times but much worse here with more participants - but every time I check it to see if the discussion is focused on 660S2 stuff, it's always and I mean always still NDH-30-owner-chatter instead.

It's wild isn't it? I remember years ago I was in a thread, I think it was the Meze 99 Classics. Several people had bought them and either returned them or sold them on, as we do
So you would expect that they would stop watching the thread and move on right? We all experiment trying stuff out and either love it or move on to the next chapter.
But there were several guys that would follow the thread weekly, if not daily. Every single comment was either how much better their new headphones were or how crappy the 99's were. What is wrong with people?
That was like 5 years ago and I haven't seen it much since then until this thread.
Although everyone is entitled to their opinions, it can be frustrating when someone consistently adds negative comments to a thread about a product they don't like, even after they've already made their views clear, as appears to be the case with this individual and the HD660S2.
to recap, the original question being asked was technical difference between NDH30 and 660S2 in terms of “space, stage, imaging, transparency, resolution”
My response was S2 is inferior in all above aspects.
If you have/had both cans and disagree with my assessment we can discuss.
Now now.....
Tried and true design...
Almost indestructible...
All parts replaceable...
Comfortable and secure...
Superior driver......(yes the Neumann Sennheiser 5 series driver has been reworked but still not as refined)
At 300 ohm scalable ......
Long and illustrious history and still getting better.....
And by many accounts the best 600 series yet.....
German engineering and.... made in Ireland...land of the Guinness.

If your opinion is that it is an inferior headphone, why are you following this thread? What is your goal here? My goal is to learn about the HD660S2's through other people's experience. How about you?

Just tired of NDH-30 fanboys going on ad nauseum about how their headphone is awesome and the S2's are inferior. When I get an alert that there are new posts and then I come on to read the same guys making the same posts it is a little frustrating.
I am not upset, just disappointed. I don't understand what you get out of this spamming, but hey, go for it.
