Just surfing the web, I spied these things on amazon for $360, don't know if that is regular price or on sale, but that seems like quite a chunk lower than the $500 on Headroom, and I just felt like I could share this nice deal with all my friends on Head-Fi.

I see DAHMART and Electronics Expo selling stuff used (usually Very Good/Like New) at great prices. 558's for $99, D2000 for $198, HD 25 1 II's for $125, SRH840's at $85.

With a little luck you can call JR.com and ask if they have any deals on them. I remember doing this and they wanted $379..I hesitated for a second and they came down to $330 I believe it was! JR may do this for other headphones as well. This was in early summer I believe.

I got them from Dahmart used like new for 310 about 3 weeks ago, and Dahmart is an authorized seller as i verified through the Dakmart website that their Amazon market name is Dahmart.  even though they stated used like new, they were brand new sealed when I go them so likely an unopened return. so if you can find them from Dahmart, feel safe about it.
