I tried the HD 560S last week and found them tiring. I returned them. Not worth it for me.Is it still worth buying after owning a HD 560s?

The timbre for me is not good on the 560S. With EQ it's good, but I still find the HD600, 650, 660S, etc. to be much more natural sounding than the 560S. If you like the HD600 naturalness, you will need to use EQ to lower the 4-6kHz range on the 560S to make it sound similar. If you want something different and more energetic in the treble, give the 560S a shot, it is fairly detailed and I personally prefer it over the Sundara. Is it still worth buying after owning a HD 560s?

What i mean is that i have a HD 560s and wanted to know if it's worth buying a HD 600
I also sold my Utopia in favor of HD600. Now I am thinking why I shelled out fortune to so called TOTL headphones. The HD 600 now brings me so much enjoyment that I’ve decided to sell my Focal Utopia.
It doesn’t have the technical chops of the Utopia (nor the prestige!) but with the right gear it’s pretty, pretty good in that department also

Still Lavricables; also try Custom Cans (U.K.) - the website is ‘jfunk.org” … their cables meet all of your requirements.Coming full circle back to the HD 600 again. I have owned the HD 580; HD 600 previously awhile back; HD 700; HD 800 briefly; and the HD 650 twice at different times so in the past I have used a good number of cables from Cardas to Blue Jeans to Norne to Lavricables. What brands today would you recommend that I look at for a replacement cable (~2m w/ 4.4TRRRS) that is both supple and durable, soft-feeling to the touch, low-microphonics, not terribly heavy, and is very well made? Budget would be around US$300-500.
