Which ones would you choose?  They both seem very good to me and the only difference is the price by A LOT!!

You really cannot compare these headphones. They are in COMPLETELY different price ranges. The ATH-M50 is definitely better in terms of SQ, but if you want to get a cheap pair of phones, you can go for the HD-202 since you say they're both good.

I don't think people normally compare these two headphones as they aren't in the same class/price bracket.  A better AT to compare to the hd202 would probable be the M30, I would imagine.
