hi guys,

I'm new on this forum. I live in amsterdam (netherlands) and i'm starting my career as a DJ.
I own the shure SE425 (wich are great) but i'm considering to buy headphones to use in the club.

These are the one:

Senheiser HD 25-1 II

or

Shure SRH750DJ

Both got great reviews on head-fi but i couldn't seem to find a comparison.
Could you guys help me out? I got my first gig on 23 of april.

Thanks in advance!

PS.I love all the reviews on this site, they are really awesome!

don't buy the shure srh750dj for dj ing. they are made out of cheap plastic and could possibly break. but i have heard the hd25 is really good for dj ing as they are durable.

You might want to look into the Beyerdynamic DT 1350, which are new.  I'm debating between the HD 25-1 and those.  But I do like how the earpiece for HD-25's tilt up:

Here are the Beyerdynamics:

Thank you guys for your quick responses, really awesome!!

Now I'm leaning more towards the Senheiser.

Senheiser HD 25-1 II or Senheiser HD 25-C II

The "Senheiser HD 25-C II" is 14 dollars cheaper, and the "C" stands for coiled cord, wich is really more practical in the dj booth.

So i wonder why its cheaper, i couldn't seem to find any diffference in the specs. Did you guys know this??

I think it has a copper cable...I don't know why that would be cheaper Copper > steel.

It is really only the coiled cable and it has a straight plug instead of an angled one..

I had both cans for a while and the HD25-1 II is a different league. The SRH750DJ feels like a cheap Skullcandy next to the Senns. I could also hear details on the HD25 I couldn't hear on the Shures.
