My Sennheiser280 produces no more sound on the left ear cup. This happens to my ear phones too over time. I treated my headset well and never abused it.
 
Anyone know why this happens or know how to fix it?

A connection probably came loose. You'd have to have the right soldering equipment to attempt repair. I suggest posting in the DIY forum for help.
