I'm a big fan of my SR60i. Really love the sound signature.
Now.. If I would climb up the grado ladder, which one should I pick to get the same sound signature but have more refinement?
I've heard that the RS2i is much closer to the sound sig of the SR60i then the SR225i & SR325is. Is this true?
I can't test them out so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I know I'm a bit late to the show, but I made the jump from SR60i to SR2i because I thought the RS2i sounded more like the SR series than the RS1i and SR335i.

The only cans I even considered were the SR225i and the RS2i as the others just didn't sound right to my ears, and the SR80i just wasn't a significant upgrade after having extensively modded my SR60i. The SR225i seemed more excited than the RS2i which would probably be better for rock music, but I couldn't resist the RS2i's fluid mids and better bass extension.

Well, the new cans would only be used for rock. For allround I have my HD598 and for bass I'm looking at the Denon AH-D2000. I don't really believe in the 'allround best headphone' (not at this pricepoint anyways.
So SR225i it is? And does it sound good with the flatpads? I really like the close sound with the stock SR60i flat pads.
