Got a Yggy LIM ordered and on the way. Fyi Schiit are doing some Black Friday deals on their closeout Yggys, so if anyone isn't bothered by the Plus version, then now is a great time to get in on the Yggy at a great price (& a bunch of other Schiit :)).

Well well well, didn't I meet you in the Elise thread? Some 4 to 5 years ago. That was when I bought my Yggy. Congrats on your Yggy.

Yes indeed!! I've moved mainly to speakers now over headphones so no longer have the Elise.

Speaking of Yggy, I'll need a longer USB cable than 1 meter - anyone know what make/brand to get that is equivalent quality to the Pyst USB cable Schiit sell please?

I like the one I got from them for my Yggy.

I just ordered the Yggdrasil OG. I have no need for the remote or NOS. My plan is to move the Bifrost 2/64 to HT. The oppo 203 ESS DAC implementation is just too fatiguing.

I know Jason spoke about the BBG going away on the Gumby, but I don’t Remember if it also applies to Yggdrasil.

Reason for choosing OG over LIM ? Trying to decide
I went with OG since BF2/64 I already own supposed to be pretty close to LIM. Only big difference is the power supply in LIM better.

OG supposedly the most detailed. It’s still the best DAC they make. It’s less than it was in 2014. Add to the mix the upgraded analog output and Unison, you can’t go wrong.

Think it's best to ask this here, I have a Yggy LIM arriving tomorrow (230v), as it was bought via their deals page, there's a chance Schiit didn't ship any power lead. As I'm in the UK I assume any UK IEC power lead (with 13amp fuse plug) will work fine with the Yggdrasil? Any recommendations?

I'm not sure about 230v / international, but I suspect a power cord will be included. If not any 230v cord should be useable.

Mine has been upgraded and its on the way. I look forward to testing out the NOS mode with the HQ player fed into it. I am wondering if I am still stuck with 192k or if I can feed in 384k and light up the 8x...Does anyone have experience with this yet?

Inputting a 384K sample rate does not light up the 8X light.
