Here's the page for the savers.

Pulse Tube Store Socket Savers

They are not on the cheap price side, but are very well made. And they get here quicker than one might think. I got mine in approx. 1 week.

** There are other noval adapters available as you scroll through the pages.
The same sockets savers are used for the 6N6P’s as well as the 6N1P’s?

Socket savers are straight pass-thru -pin for pin. They work with any noval tube.

Adapters vary by tube type - sockets savers don't as long as the same pin type and count.

Via the power switch or do you unplug as well?

I would think just switching the power switch off would be fine? No need to disconnect rca in, rca out or unplug the power cord?

I believe the power switch on Schiit products cuts the AC feed, so it's effectively the same as unplugging it.

The manual states to remove power cord before rolling tubes. I just switch off but the official stance is to remove the power cord. No need to remove RCA or USB cables.

Yeah I noticed that in the manual, which is why I asked. With the power cord plugged in and the switch off as MattTCG mentioned to me in a pm the unit is still grounded.

Perhaps it is in the literature in case someone forgets to switch the power switch off?

Meet the new knob, same as the old knob (from the Valhalla 2).

So much better looking with replacement knobs. I have no idea what are they thinking with the knob quality and scheme. The black with the grey dull pale knob looks wack to me. The knob quality was better on the old units with the polished chrome. Reminds me of eversolo's weird two tone knob units. I am 100 percent in agreement with you, I always swap the knobs when companies do this. They make a nice premium unit then its that one guy in the room who says now add a cheap looking knob lol.
