I don't really suffer from a knob fetish...

at least as it relates to audio equipment.

Same as Valhalla 2. It's on tight; I pulled it off by rolling my thumbs against the face-plate

On the topic of knobs, I had a custom knob and button made out of African Blackwood. It's a very dark wood so it is hard to photograph but they look and feel great in person.

Meet the new knob, same as the old knob (from the Valhalla 2).

Great shades of silver you have there. From the image, it seems that Vali and Valhaha share similar finishing, which also seems to match the one from my Magni Unity.

It is good to know that Schiit finally settled on a brushed aluminum supplier. Let's hope for a long relationship... :fingers_crossed:

So much better looking with replacement knobs. I have no idea what are they thinking with the knob quality and scheme. The black with the grey dull pale knob looks wack to me.
I really like the black and grey, got rid of my silver Gumby and Rag 1, and happily upgraded to G2, R 2, Wotan, and Kara.... in black/grey.

Diff strokes.

W๐Ÿ˜›W ! ... (and with a very high janka hardness rating: 3670 lbf, making the hole for the volume shaft must have been a b#t#h !)

Apparently you have to use metal working tool as it's so hard. Can't go wrong with a hard knob though ๐Ÿ˜œ

Again terrible photo but I had them made to match my African Blackwood wrist rest and keyboard knob.

You donโ€™t even have to let the amp warm up to enjoy a hard knob. How often do you guys touch yours? I had to restrain myself because I kept playing with it.
