You may want to remove those temperature-sensitive wooden objects from your space heater, I mean, headphone amp
Don't you worry, this was only after unboxing to take a quick picture with nothing plugged in. This is not where and how they will live.

It was not a good pairing in my experience.
Oooffff, unfortunate, an amp that's not a good pairing for my Focal Clear OGs it's an automatic no no, have to keep looking then.

Well I just received my MJ3 today. I haven't had much time to listen I got it set up earlier today and only had about a half hour to play with it.
First thing I did was hook it up to my LCD 5 and give it a quick listen with a jazz CD.
First thing I noticed is how much power it has I'm using balanced output only but in high gain I'm at 12:00.

The next thing I did was try it out as a speaker preamp for my desktop system which is kind of ridiculous I have two 12-in subwoofers and Focal solo six be monitors. I was using Jot2 as a preamp but MJ3 has changed everything I can't believe how good it sounds now. Much wider soundstage much more prominent bass, much better center fill.

Anyway l will write more when I get some more impressions in the coming days and weeks.

So far I'm pretty happy Even though it does hum a little bit I knew that going in.
