This may have been talked about before but last night I watched All Things Must Pass. A documentary by Colin Hanks about the history of Tower Records. It is available on many platforms and does a great job of covering how the music industry changed. With record sales improving the creditors who ended up with the name are starting to open Tower Record stores again and they were still big in Japan. The man behind the company died in 2018, Russ Solomon.

Decided to re-balance my headphone systems. Location #1 had two planar-friendly amps (MJ3 and Holo Bliss), location #2 none. Moved DSHA-3F, which only works with dynamics, from #2 to #1, now taking MJ3 from #1 to #2. MJ3 will do both planer and dynamic duties there, it's that versatile. I've owned several Schiit headamps, MJ3 is in a league of its own (no, I really don't have room for Folkvangr).

From recent scores in my groups comparison, the Folvangr is indeed a fine headphone amp. We also did not mention which group was tube and which was solid state to our test subjects. Some picked up on it after both sessions.
