Gone for a couple of days and I'm way behind. Fell down the genealogy rabbit hole, so I doubt I'll ever recover here. DNA tests are in the mail.**😁
** Jerry Springer-esque revelation at hand? 😬

For your dining pleasure.

Not quite the dining with Jason experience expected. Great chat tho.

I may have misunderstood the purpose of the Audiophile Foundation. Thought the Foundation was created to dispense grants to fiscally (martially?) challenged audiophiles so they could buy more tubes 'n schiit. 🤣

Back in 1975, my cover band was playing in Tucson at the Doubletree Inn on Alvernon Way.
On our day off, my keyboard player and I took a drive and found Ronstadt Hardware.
Cool little hometown store!
And Mike Nesmith's mother invented Liquid Paper. :-)

I stopped posting here because people were complaining about it should only be for Schiit topics and the thread moves too fast, blah, blah. I still catch up every day and I must say that everyone plays very nicely here. Well done Super Seekers!
People can always talk about Schiit products of course and some might own one product or another. There are times though when there are no new product releases or products we might not want to own so it could be like other threads where people only occasionally go there. Instead we build friendships and get to know other people in the same hobby. Many topics are inclusive such as pizza, astronomy, pets, cars, beer, humor, and album recommendations. I do woodworking that is oftentimes Schiit or audio related and really do not recall any negative comments. I think other topics keep the thread vibrant and causes people to stick around. Just my opinion.😉
ACP said it best in one German word, stammtisch.

The word “Stamm” has a few meanings… it could directly be translated to Tree Trunk (as in Baumstamm) or Stem. And Tisch, of course, is Table. But together, Stammtisch is a "table for regulars." In Germany, it is quite common for one big table in a restaurant to be set aside for locals or regulars.

Other topics allow people to join in and be part of the group.

Well said Tom.

However, you left out vodka and tequila :grinning:

lol I have little or no knowledge or interest so I would just skim past those. I do like a good margarita though. 😉 I also left out cardboard, although a first time reader might certainly be scratching their head over that one.

You stunned the thread for a few minutes, but it recovered quickly. :D

I don't usually follow up on recommendations, but you suggested Rachel Price and Lake Street Dive. I watch them on YouTube and enjoy their music. She's got quite a voice.

AFAIK all topics are welcome (NO POLITICS) as long as we respect one another.

Since joining this thread, I have bought a lot of Schiit and learned many things.

I especially enjoy the music 🎵 recommendations.
