Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up

Ahhhhhhh! My children! My babies!

I spend a lot of every day of my shift on some aspect of those three whiskies. Love to see them out being loved on! Thanks so much for sharing the photo!
I have yet to try the rye and wheat but I will at some point. My only source is about 50 miles away but I will get back there one day soon. Today I am stuck in my shop but I am streaming a John Mayer collection on Qobuz so life is good. We are also about to try a technology I have not used before using a smart oven, QR codes, and Wi-Fi.

If so, it looks pretty interesting.

Alas, I don't use balanced connections so I don't really want to pay $400+ for a preamp with either a DAC or phono (but not both) and or no remote. Once up in those ranges, I might as well get a new Yamaha AS-501 integrated and call it done. I keep suggesting that Fosi Audio jump on making a multi-input solid state preamp, perhaps they will see the light, particularly if Schiit moves away from offering something at that $300 price point?

Exactly. What is claimed to be science these days is no more than a false religion. I always chuckle when I hear ‘I believe in Science’.
As a dear friend of mine (who happens to be a PhD chemist) is fond of saying: Everyone has to believe in something. I believe I'll have another beer.
He also likes to use the old line about most alcohol being a solution.

Hey, what's up with the discontinuation of the Saga S? Is Schiit going to be coming out with a new solid state only preamp in 2024? (I have long hoped for the Saga S form factor, but with the addition of an onboard/optional phono pre slot.)
A little odd how it went straight to b-stock/closeout and skipped the "Last Call" they are doing for the other recent announcements.

BTW i bought a Saga+ and a LISST module for exactly this purpose. It was $150 more than Saga S for the same functionality, but I thought the extra dollars were justified by having extra options. I like options!

I love tubes but am not certain they have a place in pre-amp. But this keeps the door open.

Uh-oh. You should probably take this off repeat and watch something else for a while. The rest of us will pray for the population of Indiana. 🤣
