I must be missing something - the regular price for a Gungnir right now is $1199....is that the joke? Or...? Do you get 2 for $1269? Totally lost.

The B-stock Gumbys are likely the ones with VCXO oscillators used in the Adapticlock system, so they could do either VCXO or VCO clock regeneration. The $1199 Gungnirs are VCO only. But, I don't know for sure, would probably email info@schiit.com to validate this info.

I would say a secondhand Yggy isn't that much more than a B-Stock Gumby but it sure would look nice stacked with Mjolnir...

Plus there are more silver 115V yggy LIMs on closeout. Pretty happy to have snapped one up. When this glut of deals dries up I imagine it will hold its value pretty well at that price!

Help finding a Youtube link on this forum, way back around June. +/- a few months.
The link was a performance of a classical piece, or modern in a classical style. The location was a Scandinavian church, with a lot of wood. Performed by a small ensemble. There might have been a lead violin player, a Scandinavian looking man looking his 30's. His hair was short on the sides and long on the top.
I bookmarked the link, but now I can't find it.
A PM in addition to a public post will alert me.
Thanks.

The Vidar looks so sexy...intersted in how it pairs up with some mid~higher range bookshelf speakers
Mine is running some Dynaudio Excite X14. Love it.

Also dealing with a head cold. Not bad all things considered but can't fly when ears & sinuses are involved.
Out of whisky at the moment but a glass of Mexican beer certainly helps the mood. :beerchug:
Try with burBon/whiskey dash of bitters, lemon zest I microwave for15 seconds covered. Inhale fore30seconds before sipping. Lightly gargle. Will soothe any sore throat and help open up sinus issues. Old bartender trick.

You cant go wrong with Yggdrasil (OG A2 in my case) or Gungnir (A2)

Both great dacs.

Its been posted on sbaf a time or two, that from Bifrost 2 (another great DAC) on up its often system synergies and personal preference that decide what DAC works best for each persons situation. We all have different gear, rooms, ears, likes & dislikes...

Yes, I’ve had it since 2015, and have messed with Healeys since the 90s. I painted it that shade of green to match the early racing cars.
Here’s a picture or two…

Then @Paladin79 probably knows. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

This is not the same performance but maybe the Danish String Quartet?

This is a person I have heard perform locally, she is now part of a quartet and orchestra in the Netherlands.
Her parents are friends.
