Mine works great with Harbeth P3ESR XDs, and Harbeth 30.2 Anniversaries. Plenty of power for near field listening. The Vidar looks so sexy...intersted in how it pairs up with some mid~higher range bookshelf speakers

Man that's so good. Makes me wanna pull the trigger ; )Mine is running some Dynaudio Excite X14. Love it.
I'm thinking about pairing the Vidar 2 with LS50 Meta. Any thought or suggestion?

That's gorgeous. I've heard they are great speakers. Definitely need a demo sometime (despite they are a bit out of my budget rn, but who knows ?Mine works great with Harbeth P3ESR XDs, and Harbeth 30.2 Anniversaries. Plenty of power for near field listening.

Likely a great pairing, Jason has said a time or two that Vidar works best with speakers that make it work hard. In the past I used my Vidar with Elac B6 2s, and Magnepan LRSs, both lower efficency speakers. Both driven nicely by Vidar.

If one Vidar proves to be insufficient, it's easy to add a matching second Vidar and run them as monoblocks.

The mini stack just grew a little. Black sheep on the bottom so as not to offend Vali 2.

I've used it on my floorstanders to great effect. I think they can really drive anything. And if you need more headroom it's easy enough to add another one.The Vidar looks so sexy...intersted in how it pairs up with some mid~higher range bookshelf speakers
The Vidar aren't really "bridged" as monoblocks, which apparently can cause some degradation. They just use the balanced signal to drive the left and right channels directly or something. Someone correct me as I'm undoubtedly wrong.
P.S. This "bridged" information is incorrect because the Vidar isn't a Continuity(tm) amp as I had assumed, as revealed by @Jason Stoddard post: https://www.head-fi.org/threads/sch...bable-start-up.701900/page-7224#post-17354025

I need a rack like that! Where'd you get it? (I may have asked before, sorry for the repetition if so)The mini stack just grew a little. Black sheep on the bottom so as not to offend Vali 2.
Also, impressions of the Pi?
