Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up

If you have a small pianist, do you have to overcompensate by buying a sports car?
I thought you'd buy a pipe organ in that case. Darn it, must have mixed something up…

Quick question:
Anyone around here interested in buying a barely used pipe organ?
Asking for a friend…

Give it away, and you can be a proud organ donor! :sunglasses:
You can't just give people your organ all willy-nilly. Always make sure it's consensual.
Come to think of it… Giving people your organ in exchange for payment is illegal in almost all states, too.
Dang it, now I'm completely confused about what to do with my organ!

Already got my matching granite slabs picked out for Tyr.

https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/k1038117619

Perfect width to match and only 1/3” deeper than the Tyr chassis. They even weigh 55lbs each just like Tyr!

Will match the speaker granite perfectly!

Nice speaker!
I'd put sorbothane instead of those expensive iso pucks, not that sorbothane is cheap but it really works! The wooden stands are temporarily?

A 120 pound mystyry? I'm waiting for that email myself.

100lbs?! I feel cheated…

Wait, no. I figured it out: Tyr's filled with helium.

Well until I continue the search for different ones. I was eyeing some better looking ones but I couldn’t find any in my price range at the correct height in decent condition. Then I happen to be at the hardware store and saw these for around $20-25 each and the height was only 1/4” off. Close enough for government work and affordable. That and the natural pine look matches the other shelf’s I bought from the same store.

(Old pic but you get the idea)

I’ve used isoacoustic stands/pucks since 2014 or so and I keep going back to them. They don’t break the bank and I feel they work well.
