Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up

I almost don't want to ask this because I don't want to open a can of worms... after reading around the web on the evil "glitch" it seems that it was resolved a while ago but I cant see anything that is like "If you got your Gumby after this date it's covered, if you got your Bimby after this date it's covered" etc etc. I also saw some references from Mike about fixing the issue on older DACs if they go back in for upgrades, but I don't see anything like "if you got the Gen 5 upgrade, your covered". I think it would provide a little comfort for those of us that are a little OCD like myself ^_^
I remember reading somewhere that the glitch was fixed in the fall of 2016. I might be totally wrong though.

Found it.

As long as you can repair your own toaster everything is fine.

Like you repaired that power supply? That Mikita solves all problems.

His 'son' can't

Nooo.... That was an investigation and trouble shooting exercise.
Conclusion: Makita is much more powerful than the PS Audio PPP
The upshot here is that the operation was a success - but the patient died........

Wow... They look nice.
Tell us about sound and gain as soon as you're done testing please.

Since the gain is set by other circuit elements and not the valve/LISST itself, there should be no difference in that regard. Sound may (will?) vary, of course.

Will do. Unfortunately my main 2 chan setup is in a room that is not optimal because the floor was squeaking and vibrating too much in my larger listening room and I need to rebuild the floor to be more solid and stable.

Current setup in a small room.

Tubes have what is called a "gain factor". For example, 6SN7 tubes have a "gain factor" of 20. It would be interesting to note the gain factor of the octal LISST parts.
