I like what Tom produces because it is unique, personal, and with craftsmanship second to none.
Obviously I will have to build you a mini Schiit rack now. 🤪 I do not have enough of that sized gear to build one for myself.

So basically, you're saying that size matters?

A tiny Austrian hamlet just north of Salzburg.
(Pronounced "Foo-King" — which would be an even cooler town name, not gonna lie.)

Well, at least until a few years ago when they changed their name to Fugging because they grew a little tired of the attention that their 1000+ years old name afforded them, not to mention the fact that people kept stealing their town limit signs.

I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of those signs ended up in the 'Murican bible belt, though. Especially the ones you'd see when you leave town:

But fear not, the two Austrian hamlets of…

("upper effing")

…and…

("under/lower effing" – ignore the "Güterweg," that just means agricultural road)

…are still around.
That's some funny Schiit.

There was a Richard Head in the phone book for the city where I lived during and after university.
Our neighbor when I was a kid was Rhoda, and she married a guy with the last name of Tiller. Funnier, she worked as a sales rep for John Deere. 🤣

Sir, I've got an Yggy on my desk.
With a Folkvangr sitting on top of it.
OF COURSE size matters! 🤣
Or at least that's what the ladies keep telling me if and when they manage to stop laughing… 😒

………

😁

My wife has a friend with the first name Gay. She opted to not take her husband's surname: Beaver.

There was a carpet warehouse in Blackpool named “Walter Wall Carpets”.

French Lick sounds far more appealing than Lizard Lick, but I'm moving to Intercourse regardless. 🤣
iME, intercourse usually comes after French lick…

Oh dear. Jason must be very busy with <waves hand in a random direction>. The forum might need some housekeeping and pruning to keep it family-friendly.

Speaking of cool as frigg names…

This reminds me of Maury Maverick, Chairman and General Manager of the Smaller War Plants Corporation.

Right?! Maury Maverick! Smaller War Plants Corporation! Yeah, you go ahead and tell me that that's not one of the coolest names that ever were!

Why do I know of the guy, you wonder? Because he once wrote a memo that should be required reading in any Business 101 or Communications 101 class on the planet:

I know, ironic that this is coming from me… 😬

Me too. 2, 2++, and 3 on Thursday, or so sez da USPS.
Me three, er, too. Vali 2 was my very first headphone amp. When I decided I was ready for a Lyr 3, I (stupidly) sold the Vali to a friend. Loved the Lyr 3, but I missed the Vali 2 and spied one in B-stock so I snapped it up. That was almost 5 years ago, and while Folkvangr and Incubus get the majority of my serious listening time now, Vali 2 still gets its turn just 'cause it's fun to listen to.
