Yeah ... Kriegsmarine, Nazi Navy.shhh A gentleman in Belgium located them in France for me, still new in the box. The tubes say Kriegs Marine on them, I believe that is the spelling.

What a showoff. Finnegan is there to guard the rack of Melz 1578 tubes visible in the top foto, That rack is worth about 1/3 of the cost of all the other gear. And, you can't bribe him with sardines or anchovies.I absolutely do not have one, I have several. Solid cherry with copper supports. This is my main system.
I also had a Russian friend tell me the military always got the best of everything as far as tubes. I have some from the Russian navy as well, based on RCA power tubes since as I recall we sold them some manufacturing capabilities in the 30's? Someone will know this better than me but the Russian winged C's closely resemble the RCA 6as7g's.Yeah ... Kriegsmarine, Nazi Navy.
Yes, @Paladin79 and @bcowen probably picked it clean before it even surfaced.Been to Suomemlinna, Finland, there is a Finnish U boat there, on land, found a lot of German made things inside, but no tubes .... May be Paladin already been there 40 years ago .....
Can only saw a torpedo tube.

LOL you are close, now that tube phono pre-amp that Sir Cowen assembled is priceless, I probably added value to it when I connected the phono ground for him. The speakers are not showing, that is where the real money is.What a showoff. So, you never returned it after you repaired it?LOL you are close, now that tube phono pre-amp that Sir Cowen assembled is priceless, I probably added value to it when I connected the phono ground for him. The speakers are not showing, that is where the real money is.

he is a great looking cat I will admit.
By changing the length of those copper columns, I can change the height of any shelf, I made plenty of extras. The process to get that patina only takes a day and I have done a lot of it.
Steelcase FTW. https://www.crandalloffice.com/ is a good rebuilder of many nice brands - still far from cheap but a good source if you don’t have good local 2nd hand market and can’t swing full retail.Yeah my son introduced me to those. I generally use those or Steel Case for desk chairs.
Nope I am still "borrowing" it, I did return a Cary pre-amp that had an issue that occurred when he shipped it to me. He knows I have it and if I ever need to send it back I can always get an add on card for the PrimaLuna. So, you never returned it after you repaired it?
