You're not pushing it hard enough. <g>
Just have a look to the serial number tag, power consumption Vidar 2 is 700W, Aegir is 250W ( though same rating 600VA transformer ), with same heat sink size, guess it will run cooler with same speakers (Dali Oberon 1, Sensitivity 2.83V/1m 86dB, 6 ohms).

Coffee in the morning and early afternoon, iced tea all evening until time to imbibe.

Same here, and I don't like modern espresso. Tastes like battery acid 🤮🤮

Some people promote coffee with fruity after taste ... kind of sour ...

Italian said, if coffee is sour, then it means water is not hot enough, and if you put sugar on top of espesso and it doesn't float, that espresso is not up to standard, it won't happen in Italy, if it happens, you can throw that coffee to the shop owner who brew it.

I'll definitely be interested in your further thoughts, whether here or on headphones dot com forum...

Our setups are super similar, very nice! DSHA-3FN with Yggy OG (A2/Unison in old case for me), and various ZMF for me (and others). :beerchug:
Are those VC or AC? They're beautiful.
Cheers… Good taste I see :) I hope to hear the A2 someday. Those headphones are the Verite Closed. Zach makes some beautiful headphones (that somehow sound even better than they look). I rotate between those and the Atrium Closed. Here’s the full setup* including the 1101 Blue Halo+ (custom OTL tube amp).

I was just a year out of high school when I bought my first Kronos Quartet CD and it has enthralled me ever since. A stunning collection of exceptionally fascinating music. It helped a lot that it showcased Dawn Upshaw as well. :)

And now for high end espresso grinding techniques:

My grinder actually came with a small water spray included out of the box lol. I really like how effective it removes static by just by spraying and shaking

You've been drinking it out of the wrong mug!

I have this one when travelling around. Bought in Finland many years ago, made from recycling material, never taste like ass even with hot espresso.
