Maybe Jason can get some stickers printed up for the back panel that say "First Run or First Edition" or something to commemorate its launch....

Why so much of anticipation and hype around it?

After a number of years of staring at my Asgard's volume knob wishing it had a more obvious indicator on it, I finally got around to doing something about it! I could have just added a larger indicator to the standard aluminum knob, but I decided to do it properly and turn an entire new knob from stainless steel! I figured some of you would appreciate the completely unnecessary but highly satisfying improvement!

Why so much of anticipation and hype around it?

I think a few reasons:

1. Modi Multibit has been sold out for quite some time now due to chip shortage. So people have been waiting even for Modi Multibit 1.

2. Previously people have been asking for a Unison USB Modi Multibit for a while, but it was physically impossible to fit the module in there due to space. Until now with the redesigned Modi Multibit 2.

3. They added the combo burrito filter from Bifrost 2 and NOS mode into Modi Multibit 2, so it's kind of like a mini Bifrost 2 now. As for actually how close it is we'll find out eventually.

4. Magni Piety crowd has been looking for a matching dac to go along with it, so timing wise it worked out.

So something like this lol.

I may work on a tube buffer stage early next year along with @sam6550a, a cathode follower that uses 6sn7's. Naturally if I make it, hardwoods will be involved in the cabinet. I may only contribute 20% or so to the project, I like to give credit where credit is due.

Cardboard for me please. Something using sustainable wood.

Has anyone actually compared a Lyr+ with a Lyr 3 for sound? I'd never use a + without the tube but the extra input would be nice and if it sound better it might be worth an upgrade.

Urd 20:1?
Mystery meat, I mean device 1:1?

My hopes are

• Modi Multibit in sufficient stock so I can wait until Jan to buy one, (1:2 then, adding the Jan bit, 10:1)
• Cthulhu 2 for Magni/Modi/Loki, (50:1)
• Urd (duh!), (20:1)
• matching desktop speaker amp for Bifrost. (100:1)

P.S. My keyboards are a Code V3B Cherry MX Blue and a
Gamdias HERMES P3 RGB Mechanical [Brown Switches]

I think I like the feel of the Brown switches better, appropriate for a SchiitHead :-D
That keyboard doesn't have a Command/Windows key on the left side so it's a pain.
