Too many really good ones, but if I had to list my favorite concert: Weather Report w/ Jaco Pastorius. Heavy Weather, Black Market, Jaco playing a solo stint during intermission... Amazing.

BTW -- In the Garden of Eden, baby... 😏

Here's some unpopular opinion, most rock concerts I've been to, while the ambiance is amazing, sound was never that great LOL.

Like rock concerts generally sound nothing close to their album tuning/clarity. It's generally just loud and noisy with instruments drowning vocal. But the feeling while being there is great though! And some bands do have better sound control than others.

Here's a list of concerts I've been to in no particular order: Taking Back Sunday, Straylight Run, Thursday, Saosin, Blink 182, Angels and Airwaves, Box Car Racer, Linkin Park, Fall Out Boy, Against the Current, Paramore, No Doubt, and some other ones that I can't remember off my head LOL.
Sorry that you were born too late. I've been to the Beach Boys, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Elton John, Supertramp, etc. concerts and they were the best thing ever. Not nearly as loud as concerts have become and the sound was great. Hard not to rock out. Lately I have been to a couple Dead and Company concerts accompanying my wife who is a complete dead head and they were good too, even if the crowd is 'kind of cultish' and the music isn't exactly to my taste. I thoroughly enjoy the drum solo in the middle of each of those dead concerts.

So, what was the backstory of In-A-Gadda-Da -Vida? Jeez, I never had to spell that before.
It was In The Garden of Eden but they were in too stoned to pronounce it and just went with it. 😏

I saw the Tragically Hip 10 times in BC and Alberta
I've seen them a few times. I saw Big Sugar a dozen or more times, and met several of the band members over the years. Gordie Johnson was a high school friend of an acquaintance back in my university days.

Early on I saw Steppenwolf, Born to be Wild had the line heavy metal thunder which was supposed to have spawned the term Heavy Metal. I heard the Pusher but my favorite song was Snowblind Friend that I was introduced to later. I think the group name was based on a Hermann Hesse novel but I could be wrong.

I also heard the last word was vida and the title meant in the garden of life, but that was prior to Google.

I did not use Google. Heard it on a rock radio show years ago.

I did not say YOU used Google, I was referring to the fact I read it before Google existed so it was hard to check out.

Same thing with the group Steppenwolf, Hesse was popular with young people at the time so we always figured the group name was based on the book. Now as far as Stranger in a Strange Land, the book caused Water Brother groups to be formed, to Grok meant to drink deeply of as best I recall. Interesting groups. This was also the time of trying to run turntables backwards to see if you could hear the Beatles say Paul is Dead.🤪
