Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up

All this talk about what sounds good/better (streaming vs physical media etc) prompted me to share a video of a remix of a classic Def Leppard track, Photograph.
Even though it's on YouTube (and 128kbps?) the sound quality of the remix is impressive, and markedly better to me than the album version (IMO, YMMV etc).
To me this simple demonstration shows how much the mix and the master plays in the final products subjective sound quality.

Enjoy

Well Derrick, disagree all you want. Jason disagrees with you. He understands that international customers may not be as willing to buy from the USA with all the costs and red tape involved. Since he owns the company, I guess his opinion counts, while mine and yours, not so much.....

Just saying :)

I'm more of a Bergerac Pecharmant or Languedoc/Roussillon wine area type of person ... good Bordeaux is over-priced ... good Burgundy similar
I do find myself gravitating towards Languedoc/Roussillon a lot. Also a big fan of Chateauneuf du Pape, but that tends to be a bit more expensive.

In that vein, this episode of the youtube show Dead Wax (formerly Professional Musicians React) involves the mixing of Born in the USA:

Great show for music theory nerds.

+1 -- I'm a big fan of my Tekton Lore Reference.
And I'm more than happy with my Lores. They're the best $5k speaker that I've ever spent $1k on. 🤣

Is that new Bifrost 2/64? What’s your impressions of these so far?

Yep. Personally, I enjoy it a lot. It may not be as warm/dark as the original BF2, but it makes up for it in increased clarity and imaging, which has been great for my desktop speakers but not as great for my Grado headphones. I see the new card as a different flavor since it leans a little more towards a neutral sound.

Thanks for your thoughts. Just wondering which particular Grado headphones you're referencing above. I'm curious
