If you can stretch your budget a bit, you can get a Record Doctor V RCM for $219
https://www.audioadvisor.com/prodinfo.asp?number=RDV
https://www.crutchfield.com/p_325RDV/Record-Doctor-V.html?tp=203

The Record Doctor VI comes in at $299
I have the V. It's more manual labor than the expensive ones but does just as good of a job, and for 5 years of use no problems.
Thank you gentlemen!

That is one of the worst looking websites I have seen in years.
And this part on the retailers page is hilarious.

Haven't been to Rogue since they moved building. I worked up near them occasionally and contacted them about stopping in. They hosted me. Gave me the full tour. Mark even started telling me about the digital products he was working on at the time. (The now RP-x series of preamps). They let me into their listening room and when I was blasting some alice n chains Mark stopped back in to say how much he loved that band.

Old website. Great people and really enjoyable gear. My system is a hybrid Schiit/Rogue system.

One of their technicians is one of the guys behind Darwin Cables.

Also near Allentown/Bethlehem you have to stop in to Bek HiFi. Great Vinyl focused audio shop. Rogue and Devore Fidelity dealer.

Yep, 45miles*2/day*5 day/wk = 450 mile/30 mpg = 15 gal/week premium @ $4.3/gal right now or $64.5/wk or >$3200 a year.

And not changing, just closed on the house 45 miles away.
congratulations. hope you locked in a fixed-rate loan (rates just likely to climb higher).

to reduce your commute, "just" get the plant to move closer to your house. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

My numbers were slightly lower since gas is about $3.89 a gallon here.😁

You joke, but a newer plant (opens after this one is supposed to, so go from shiny and new to shiny and new) was announced recently closer to home, just a different material but same process. And avoided having to renew a rental.

Soon, this part of the country can supply sheet steel and sheet aluminum in the same area - only issue is circuit boards are at the other side of the state.

Its $3.59 for regular here, its the need for 92+ octane that gets me.

I got my new Outback in mid May. It came with a full tank of gas, and I have yet to use it all. Got to love retirement.

If it's the same place, I stopped in a few years back. They offered some whiskey (scotch?). I asked why. They said because it helped people decide to buy. Very, very nice people.

Heard SimAudio and Hegel solid state amps there. Eye opening difference in presentation.

Lessee, 45mi is well within any EV's range :-D If there's a free charger at the plant you're golden.
No charger at the plant and you'll still be covered by most EV's range.

According to https://www.chargevc.org/ev-calculator/ you'd save over $1900/yr
Just sayin... :)

Agreed, but right now its outfitting the house - and its a detached carport with no power, so it will take a bit to upgrade. Yes I fully expect the next vehicle to be an EV, but let me pay this one off first.

So you have to buy a really expensive EV, buy a home charger, then save 1900.- on gas...hoera

Lucky me, I cycle to work.
True, I estimated it takes more than 10 years to have the ROi. So perhaps it is a better way to save money than having it on your bank account ... and for the environment we do everything but using our feet or bike more :)

Now THAT, that is gorgeous! Thank you! Great way to start my day. What a cool clock! I can not afford one but that is true of many things but in no way diminishes my appreciation for them! Again, thank you!

Verily, a SchitTime Clock doth seem a worthy item for all goode Schiitizens.

You could always get a Nixie Clock

I find that a adult beverage helps me relax and listen to the music and not the equipment.
