Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up

It's a truncated quote from Robert A. Heinlein. The full quote: “An armed society is a polite society. Manners are good when one may have to back up his acts with his life.”

Essentially, pound away on your keyboard, anonymous, and oblivious to the world at large. Face to face, most would be much more polite, with or without firearms.

Walk into a bar. State your opinion, in the face of and contrary to your listener. Find your nose broken.

Anyone remember dueling (not involving banjos)?

It has a long and varied history - Code Duello.

Also “Should have gone for the Marquis of Fantailer. I believe that has been carved on many a gravestone", - Snuff, Terry Pratchett.

Rolexes are mass produced watches for peasants, criminals, rappers and unknowing salarymen.
Rolex, Breitling, Omega, are pro watches. not for the people whom wanted something elegant but want something to make a statement as like "Here am I".

The watch I wear when I'm not at work apparently doesn't meet your high standards. What am I to do?

Which is not very hot at all, since the max safe touch temperature is 140F
Agree. I have a genetic skin disorder that renders me sensitive to heat (not a big deal), but the wife washes dishes at temps I cannot cope with. But A2 is now settled in at 117, sounding great! Still hotter than I want to hang on to. I can change volume no problem, don’t need to do anything else. And hey, in the summer, it’s about at equilibrium with temps outside for both of us! 😂

Edit: the plate with vent holes on top is at 134F. A2 doesn’t drive my Sundara nearly as easily as A3 or Lyr3, but i still love this (Space heater status notwithstanding)!

Indeed. Personnel protection shall be applied above that temperature (at least, in the oil industry).

Ignore me. My standards are a lot lower but there are people who want you to think they can uphold these ridicules standards.
It always was Constanza who kept me in her strict day programming so I never lost time during the day.
Sinds she is scouting the eternal hunting fields for me there's a hiatus in my knowledge here.
