Here's my vote. A very nice IPA from a local microbrewery.

Vote noted. Here’s my dinner.... and some broccoli.

Red wine with dinner for me.

I spend a lot of time blending tube sound with solid state, it’s all about choices for me.

I bought the liquor stock out a bar a couple years ago and I still have a couple bottles of Martini and Rossi vermouth unopened. If either of you are in the states, I would ship it to you. One marked extra dry, the other does not say.

Wow. That's quite the generous offer seeing as shipping FROM ITALY is not cheap.

(Sometimes I crack myself up!!)

Martini and Rossi is Italian of course. I tried a dry martini once, I am not a fan of gin except with St. Germain’s licquor. I had several cases of schnapps, my daughter called it starter licquor.

Ripper you should be listening to the Lounge Lizards!

The brewery you can walk to across the Schiit parking lot: www.pocockbrewing.com

The brewery you can walk to from the Schiitr: https://www.facebook.com/brewerydraconum/

Amazing hyperlocal beers: www.ojaivalleybrewing.com

There are literally too many to list around here. Five Threads, Enegren, MacLeod, Lincoln, VCBC, Poseidon, Surf, BrewLab, Captain Fatty's, and at least a dozen more. Almost everyone has something great, depends on what you're looking for.
Duvel!
If you can find it try it and let me know what you think. Absolutely fabulous beer from Belgium imho.

Gin Martini when in the UK or Canada. Vodka Martini everywhere else!

Thank you for the offer of the Martini & Rossi, very generous, but a bottle of vermouth will last about ten years around here!

I still have a 40 year old bottle of Martini & Rossi from my wife's Grandfather's estate, for sentimental reasons. He was one of a kind!

Pocock’s The Old Road, a lovely nut grown ale with a stouty darkness. love it(and I live right off the old road...)...

Ok, Ellie’s Brown Ale from CO, goes perfectly with Diana Krall on my 6XXs via Bifrost 4490/Lyr 3 (new Tung Sol). Sublimely smoky...
Fyi, Newcastle never did travel well away from Tyneside, and these days, it starts off poorly, too (not that it’s still from Tyneside...).

^ This times 1e6. What a fantastic beer. And that's an understatement.
If you are ever in Brugge, there's the Duvelorium. The bar has a really nice porch to have a Duvel and overlook the town square with the Belfry tower. Been there a couple of times and picked up a special Duvel glass that you can only get there.
Just don't forget all the other great Belgian beers too numerous to mention, like Westmalle, Chimay, St. Bernardus, Tripel Karmaliet, Rochefort, and, perhaps my personal favorite, Orval. Of course I should mention Westvleteren, but that's pretty hard to find outside of Belgium.

We have a couple of local breweries here. These are particularly good.

All this beer talk is making me thirsty, and it’s only 8.43am here!
