Hey Loud speaker guys, what do you think of these? Apparently it is a kit..

I read a review on the Dayton Audio Epique CBT24 that looks almost identical:

https://www.soundandvision.com/content/dayton-audio-epique-cbt24-speaker-system-review

EDIT: I love the concept / form factor; truly stunning to behold. Not a fan of the equalization requirements. I wonder if anything's changed (besides the additional drivers) with the model you posted.
That review pumps me up on the cbt design. :call_me:

EDIT - check out the kit

^This is a great chart, if a bit misleading. The things in red in some of the columns (like frequency response). Human hearing stops around 20,000Hz (for a baby anyway). There's no way 100,000Hz should be red in any way shape or form. Same with SNR....

Even though the actual cutoff points are way outside our hearing, a bigger frequency response range overall should generally correspond to a flatter frequency response in the audible frequencies.

Of course, the specs are only part of the picture. Notice the multibit DAC's have worse THD, but most people agree they sound better!

Here's an update, I added Gain, Mani, Saga, Freya and Output Impedance for the DAC's:

Based on this we should all use Magni 3 and Fulla 2...

Magni 3 really is a standout for the price, balanced out on Jotunheim is another good one, but Fulla 2 would only give my 300 ohm headphones 40mW of power!

The DAC specs really don't seem to correlate with real life performance, except maybe SNR...

See.. I wouldn't know that.. I'm kinda a portable guy. :D

Hey Loud speaker guys, what do you think of these?

I love the look and concept of line arrays but have never heard one. Bob Carver makes one he calls the Amazing Line Array and Steinway Lyngdorf make one that is priced like a house. I think the old Infinity IRS (I think) is also a line array.

One of the ads for the Carver one explains the concept. My POV is more drivers means moar music!
