Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up

The pizza place inn the Porta section of Kyoto Station was quite good.

Most of my time in Japan was in Wakayama, about a 45 minute train ride from Osaka (our company's head office is there). Have taken trips to Kyoto and Osaka. Again, I was only commenting on what the folks there told me. Only went for pizza there once, and it was dreadful.

Agree, whites are their best, reds are better elsewhere (Australia!... but I'm biased)
I need to get over to Australia. Amisfield Winery, in Otago, makes some good wines. If you make it down to Queenstown someday it's worth a visit.

A Japanese chef once told me that it's better to have a few excellent pieces of fish than heaps of average pieces on your plate. I concur.

Come to think of it...
Should a pizza turn at 45 or 33,33 rpm?

Forget the CD transport, Schiit need to build a pizza transport. One that gets it to me in 5 minutes or less...

Schiit Pizza. I'd buy that.:beerchug:

Food choice in Wakayama was limited for us as well. We were in Koya San

In fact, I was refused service at the restaurant South Sea in Koya San. It was the ONLY time that I experienced rudeness in Japan
