Record rack
A rack for the album cover of a record in play, or if you want to display just one.🤪. I did not like the idea of the sleeve touching just the edge of the patinated copper so I added a softer curve.

IMO and that of some others: Gungnir 2 > Yggy A1/A2/GS/LIM at this time.

Future Yggy using technology in the G2 might will likely be better than the current G2, but not today.

Respectfully, there's no "better." There's only flavors.

Another interesting tidbit from the Korf FAQs, re: moving coil vs moving magnet cartridges:

It's interesting to note that nothing really prevents anyone from building an MM or MI cartridge with the same attributes [as moving coil cartridges]. But cartridge makers prefer to focus their engineering investment on moving coil ones.
Exceptions like the Top Wing prove that the cartridge mustn't necessarily be of moving coil type to achieve remarkable performance.
There is an oft-repeated misconception that MCs sound better just because of their lower moving mass. The lowest published moving mass cartridge is a moving magnet (MM), Technics EPC-100C Mk4.

I wonder if @Jason Stoddard would be willing to comment on Yggdrasil (any flavor) sales since the debut of the Gungnir 2. I would assume that LIM sales ($750 more than G2 without FB) are close to nil and that MIB sales have declined by around 75% since. I would also assume this was the case even before the current, greater US market turmoil, which is likely suppressing demand on the whole/and increasing the price for imported components.

@Paladin79 Very cool record display rack!
Thanks, if I build for others I will use a couple wood types for the base and maybe walnut or oak dowel rods, I am pretty sure I have both. Copper may get even more pricey soon.

Some of my builds are pretty specific but hopefully I can build some of these for friends with turntables.

I suppose I could build a tiny version for audio CDs as well.

Nice! I could use GE’s and Fotons with some Philips ECG’s thrown in.🤪

This is turntable related, it should be obvious.😉

What is it?
You were going to revolutionize vinyl playback the way disposable razor companies changed shaving.

Two Turntable Arms. What the first tonearm misses the second one gets. Track Two Too!

Oh well... your use case is good too.
