Edit: When updating Rockbox, do I just copy over the old ".rockbox" folder?

Yes, so far it's worked fine for me, just remember to copy across your themes into the same folders along with your config file.

dfkt has posted his config file over at the ABI forum, its a very good template for writing your own.

Okay, r25455 seems to have issues with playback from micro SD cards, I can browse the files on the card but when I select a file to play my Clip+ just freezes and I have to hold the power button for 10 seconds to reset.

I've reverted back to r25404 from the 31st of March, for some reason my 2gb Clip+ & 8gb micro SD card seems happy with this version.

All the builds I've tried so far (updated 2-3 times per day) have buggy micro SD playback, but almost all of my music is on my micro SD card. Usually freezes up within 20 minutes or so, usually within 5 when I'm shuffling through. Still better than no playback at all though.

I've put Rockbox on my Fuze v2 too, and it's pretty neat so far. Doom works, but I really miss the volume rocker from the Clip+.

You mean the .cfg file for Rockbox? Just put it in the .rockbox folder. Just in that folder, not one of its subfolders, and it should be good to go.

Probably because the volume control is all done in software.
