Sansa Fuze Appreciation Thread

I bought the one below from a turkish seller, recommended on another fuse thread.  I did try it with a supposedly good external amp but could barely hear any difference from the Fuse on its own. That said, I'm sure there are amps out there that can make an improvement. 

My future plans are to use a Windows 8 phone + external amp/ DAC, so maybe I've wasted my money buying that LOD.

I have the fuze in my rucksack permanently because its so light and diminutive. It sounds great either through my sony buds or Ultrasone Sig Pro's.

I also saw there was a Hong Kong seller on ebay who sells LOD for Sansa Fuse.

Picked up one of these V2 for $25 on ebay, couldn't resist at that price.

Should have it in a couple of days. I was reading something about rockbox not supporting LOD? Can someone fill me in please and what's the story?

Nice H2O,

It does, it just requires a certain patch/build. It's floating around here somewhere with instructions.

Now you just have to find one of the LOD's....lol.
I'll be curious, how much if any difference you see between HO and LO.

Are there two versions of fuze LOD? different for V1 and V2? Because I can find fuze LOD's on ebay but you have risen my suspicion there may be different LODs for each version?

As far as I know they should work on either Fuze, after all, the sync cable never changed. In fact, I still have a Fuze sync cable that is usable on my e280!

That's what I wanted to hear. Probably go for this I think then use my 3.5 mini to mini cables.

Let me know if there is a noticeable difference between LO and HO......I remember that was a point of spirited, and often vitriolic debate back in the heyday of the Fuze.

Was probably the amp effecting those areas....

What amp were you using with the Fuze Lee?

Leckerton UHA4. Yep the amp always adds its own characteristics to the sound.

Well my Fuze will probably be here tomorrow, I have no LOD for the time being. Guess I better buy that adapter, more money gone. :mad: Then the battery is probably so old only lasts 30 minutes lol. I might hold off until it arrives. Probably give your Studio V 3RD ANV a run just from the headphone out I imagine....

I should clarify, just in case....I meant using the amp from both the LO and HO, if there is a difference in the sound that way.
