I was using mine (international version) on direct aussie sunlight just fine though, I am using he max brightness , kinda better than IOS screen

well admitedly i havent tried it yet, i am in the UK and we get about 2 days sun a year

but i couldnt use the walkman in direct sunlight and my note is less bright than the walkman.

Anyone with comments on the HP out for the Note 2 and comparisons to other things like the iPhone's etc?

Do you mean the sq? I like note 2 better compared to the iphone 4s, and its pretty comparable to the likes of j3 or the n1, totally losses out to my new ak100 though

but once you add a portable amp/dac the note wins again! hows the camera on the ak100?

 


Might be better off going with a dedicated source in that case I reckon.

Some objective assessement...from the good folks of Goldenears.net
 
It does great the most important thing (output impedance) and acceptable in the rest of areas. Overall i think that it's a good pair for balanced armature iems.
