Samson SR850 vs JVC HA-RX900 vs MDR-XB700

I think it's personal preference really.

The XB and JVC have loads of bass and are comfortable with more isolation. (the XB will have much more bass then the JVC's which are also very bassy)

The SR850 has a good balance of bass and clarity and has an amazing soundstage.

SR850 is very well balanced so pretty much any type of music or music will sound good coming out of it.
JVC/XB is better for electronic/bassy types of music and comfort/isolation

I should also add the SR850 are a clone of the Superlux HD668b which are probably one of the most reccomended pair of headphones below $100

I personally would go for the SR850.
