Anyone try this alo XLR calbe for their Rad-0 https://www.rossonaudiodesign.com/shop/alo-cables
Or maybe any other aftermarket XLR cable
Or maybe any other aftermarket XLR cable
Waiting for my ALO cable to arrive. Not expecting any improvement over the cable that the guys from Rosson made me last year. I’m just getting as it looks better. The nicest cable I had was from Norne Audio it was Draug 3 SC.
It might the amp is rated at 32 ohms and up. Only problem I’ve ran into is sensitivity levels below 96db. One example is HEkse can’t raise volume past 12 or distortion sets in.

Interesting, please share the result!I bought some aftermarket HD600 headband pads. Will cut them up and doubleside taped at different positions on the RAD-0 headband to spread pressure. They are much cheaper then the Dekoni nuggets and also likely lighter.
Ok, too bad. Nice try. I hope to try them one day. I like what I hear about the sound characteristics. Less enthusiastic about the comfort side of things, from comments I have read.Tried the cut-up HD600 pads on the RAD-0 and they are not thick enough to make contact with my head. Experiment failed.
I have thought that the pad on the underside of the RAD-0 was too narrow front-to-back so I carefully unstitched it off. Now I have the full depth of the headband spreading the RAD-0 weight on my head. Much more comfortable. Extended listening!
There is both stitching and glue. Once I had the stitching off / undone with fingernail scissors, I slowly worked the pad loose using an X-acto knife. You mentioned "unstitched it off". Was the central pad sewed to the head band outer sleeve? I thought it was glued on.
