more body to the sound.

edit: if you want thick lush mids, try a Dunu dn2000 (non J version). subbass transitions nicely all the way up the mids. Bass sound controlled/ show excellent restraint.

Yep. Thanks for clearing that up.

I've considered the DN 2000 however a lot of what I've read makes it seem like a side grade to the IT03 rather than a true upgrade. I love deep, detailed bass (not necessarily basshead), thick mids, and as big a soundstage as possible. I thought the capp mkII could maybe fit the bill with the bass switch off...

unlike most hybrids, they are both subbass specialists. yeah, don't buy if you've got the it03. they cover similar spectrums for most part. I recommend flc8s next depending on what you're looking

I will have to look for that comparison, i missed it!

it03 single dd though, capp mk2 has 2x dd

I noticed capp has new colors available.... after i bought mine!!!

Had i known these were coming i might have tried to get 2 in green like the "jewelry blue & green".

but van gogh blue remains my 2nd favorite color even seeing these... so glad i have those.

Ah, thanks..... unfortunately, that comparison is nearly completely useless as is!
(no indication of what numbers mean... no indication of source setup.... it03 rated as perfect 10 all around)

It would be nice if @SemRumo  could come back and be a little more descriptive about the comparison.

I'll hope to see other comparisons another time.... just want my capp mk2's to come back home....

Fx1200 needs minimum 500hrs

500Hrs, I'm not even sure I'll live 500 more hours:smirk:

I'm digging the Pearl Blue Vap:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: I got the No. 7's in the deep purple:smiley:

Any earphone that needs to be burned it 500 hours before it can be used well is completely useless to me.

Not that I think that earphones actually burn-in in the first place, though.

There is no bass switch on the Capp MKII, it affects higher frequencies only. It has excellent bass though.
