rod-locking screw for grado hp-2

hello head-fier´s,
please i need your help.
yesterday, i bought the grado hp-2 without the rod-locking screw.
i know i should write to Mr. Joe grado but he can not have mail.
anyone know where i can buy the rod-locking screw?

Contact Grado. If they can't help...it might not be as nice as stock but head out to the hardware store and grab a couple thumbscrews.

There is no point contacting Grado lab. The only person who could have parts for HP1000 is Joe Grado himself. He has retired and doesn't sell the screws separately- that's if there are still any left.
You can use the phones without the screws. Hope it works out for you.

i know this: joe grado is not the same of grado labs.

As previously suggested take the screw you have and visit any hardware store and look through the Cap Head screws matching the thread and screw size to the one you have. They usually have them in black and silver. The original screw probably has a custom finish but I've got to believe the size and thread are standard. Buy two so they match.
 
Joe Grado retired many years ago, Grado Labs is now run by his nephew John.

i also think that the best solution.
i don´t write to joe grado for only two screws
