Rockbox for iBasso DX90 dual boot with Mango (Stock Firmware)

If anybody wants a handle little program (exe or source) that will auto generate your playlists, I wrote one when I should have been working yesterday :smile:

What I really really would appreciate is a Rockbox app which would eliminate repeated entries in the playlists. Doing it by hand is a real pain!

I'd really like a small OSX app that 'syncs' the music going to my DX90 meaning put on it a shuffle of random tracks of oldest last played or some other checkbox selection like that.  The problem is my library is way bigger then the SSD and it would be nice to just plug it in and get the recently played stuff out and something new in without having to do anything manually.

fade in/out issues? do you mean when you hit play/pause how the sound fades in/out?  i thought that was intentional and yeah i hate it and would love to turn that off.  i prefer interface that just does what you tell it and immediately.

  No, I mean when pressing next, the song skips a few seconds.

There's not a lot feedback about improvements I made in Rockbox for DX90. Here's a few users in this thread I guess. Just try Ln-patched firmware and RB and if something's wrong and it's possible to fix it, most likely someone (for example me, @cholero or @Lurker0) will fix it.

Some DX90's are having mechanical issues with the buttons causing incorrect behaviors.If this is the problem, it has to be replaced. Maybe posts here will help you figure out if that could be the problem or you can ask Paul/iBasso: http://www.head-fi.org/t/715434/ibasso-dx90-bug-thread-post-any-firmware-bugs-issues-here/600

Thanks for the reply, I scoured through that thread and apparently many have it:

More of a fade in, it's a skipping, it skips the first seconds of a song, sometimes more than 10. I wanted to know if this also happened in rockbox

I had a Cowon X5L that had a feature of continuous play. I don't mean the same album over and over but would go onto play the next album in the next folder. I could listen to all the albums of an artist without having to fiddle with the player. Is that a doable tweak? Thanks.

Settings -> Playback Settings -> Auto-Change Directory
If you want random auto change, you should generate folders list with Plugins -> Applications -> random_folder_advance_config -> Generate Folder List.
