Good afternoon!
Following the announcement of our new entry-level IEM, the S500i, four weeks ago, we took a handful of units on the road with a successful preview at Europe’s first official CanJam in London and formal debut at IFA in Berlin and had some amazing feedback on our new compact, affordable offering.
Now it’s the turn of Head-Fi users as we open applications for the S500i review programme. We’re keeping it simple with this one - six units, six writers, six reviews. That’s it.
About the S500i
The new RHA product features an ultra-compact design in aluminium, made possible by a high performance micro dynamic driver. The 140.1 model driver promises faithful listening experiences, having been engineered to deliver vibrant, immersive and detailed sound reproduction.
The iSeries version features a three-button remote and microphone for use with compatible Apple devices, while both the S500 and S500i use a 1.35m cable also features a two part material design; the upper half using a traditional TPE finish and the lower half featuring a tangle-resistant, fabric braided outer. Accessories include seven pairs of silicone ear tips in a variety of designs and sizes with holder, a fabric carry pouch and clothing clip.
Availability
The S500i and S500 will go on sale worldwide in early October 2015, with the S500i exclusively available through the Apple Store Network.
The S500i will also be available to audition at CanJam @ RMAF 2015 in Denver, Colorado on 2-4 October.
