That adapter seems good?  Does it allow the controls to actually work?

Sorry for not make clear about "work"..the adapter is good in build and it make the MH1 become a normal iem (don't have to keep pushing answer button to hear normal) but you can't use the controls for any function on Clip Zip (or Sony Xperia S phone that I have)

My English is very bad..sorry about that.

Perfect. For shoppers not in the far east there is a similar deal in England.

Just received my ones yesterday.
I bought them from the uk ebay seller posted by TRANCE a few pages back.

Work flawlessly with iphone, ipod, ALO rx. No need for adapters.

And they work very very well too!!

Excellent buy. Can't wait to listen to them again tonight

.

Just a couple of remarks:
- Someone commented on them being "Bassy": !! In that case: how would you feel if you listened to the equally excellent & budget conscious Koss PP??
- The "microphonic" cable: can anything be done to fix that?

My MH1 doesn't work with Sansa Clip mp3 player, Sony Xperia SP mobile phone, and the Corda 2Move Amp. As in sounds weird unless u keep the button on the remote depressed. With the Xperia , the phone rejects it completely.

Good thing is works perfect with Cowon iAudio9 without any convertors.

I did order the OMTP convertor and that makes it work with Sansa Clip and Sony Xperia, but not with the Corda 2Move Amp. On the Sony Xperia the remote buttons don't work. Just for playing music i gues. need to test if the mic works for calls.

For now I will use MH1 with Cowon.

I'll keep exploring options to use it with Corda 2Move amp.

Update (9th Nov 13): Works with my Nationite s:flo2 without covertors/adapters. Sounds great too. Separation is awesome.

Hi there! Does it require an adapter to work on normal players like iPod and cowon? Thanks for your help there!

I'm not sure yet... but I think they might. I had the MH1c version before and it worked well with iPods but not without converter adapter on Sony Ericsson and other old android phones.

Hi.
I just got my MH1's. (cause they are compatible with my nokia 808)
They sound really good , but there is one problem which bothers me really.
After a few minutes of listening the left bud (with the remote) starts to get quieter and quieter.
Is my pair faulty ? Can I solve the issue without recabling ?
Also they have more sub bass and less mids than my XB500 ?!

Since nobody responded about that I decided to disassemble the microphone unit.
This is what I found out:

I am now thinking about removing the circuit board, soldering the mic+ground and putting the plastic case back together.

UPDATE: I did that. Now they work fine on every 3.5mm device but the left bud is still quieter so they are probably faulty....

Good work!  Can the casing go back on cleanly or did you have to destroy it?

did your left bud broke after you did the mod, or is it already broken even before you did the mod?
