Hello guys, I have been using this excellent little headset for a while (as a matter of fact I have bought several pairs for my kids too!) but I have stumbled on a little problem. I own a Geek Out 450, which is way too powerful for these IEMs. I fried 2 pairs before giving up. What is your opinion, would it work, and if yes, what is the right impedance for the Sonys ?

I read this review and finally bought my self sony mh1 and it will probably arrive in couple of days
got it pretty cheap 10$ for the iem but i must spend 5$ for trrs jack
now I just crossed my finger and hope that I wont get a deffect unit
and the most important part is that the hopefuly the sound is good
 
I've been using phonak 022, ath im50, ttpod t1, meelec m-duo, brainwavs b2
does anyone now which one of my iems that has the closest similiarity in sound character with sony mh1?

Hey can anyone help me find some cheaper ones? I tried buying from the UK amazon website and they don't do deliveries in the US. Ive been searching ever since I heard of these and haven't found a good deal. I found some on eBay but theyship from China and will take like a month, and I keep reading people buying them for cheap. Suggestions? Thanks! I've been getting more and more obsessed with the quality of sound output from headphones and devices and thought it was time to finally make an account here lol.

I'm looking for the mh1c more specifically as o do not have the cable required to convert them, and I like the idea of changing tracks without pulling out my phone. Nexus 4 w/viper4android BTW.

I'm interested in rinchoi mod, once the rear vent(on the transducer) is completely blocked with little lowpass the frequency response is become very linear close to Etymotic ER-4.

On a side note, I don't think there are any fake mh1 out there? I think he said no to the question if he is a authorized seller and not if the MH1 themselves are genuine. Makes sense since I don't think any Sony sellers would sell them on AliExpress. I can be wrong though...

Just got this, it has very low volume,  fitting always slipping from my ear and you can't wear it over the ear to prevent it   not very impressed with the sound either.

Finally got these amazing iem, (the original one...MH1a).. it sounds very satisfying...this is the kind of iem that can put a smile on ur face wth the sound it produces...very realistic sounding indeed...was quite amazed at how such a tiny driver can produce such an amazingly accurate, beautiful satisfying sound!!!

I'm very confused and forgot how the all adapter thing works. Do you know if the original mh1 could work with the iPhone 5/5s without an adapter? Another thing I never got if there's a way for both mh1 and mh1c to make the answer button work.
