Hi,

I'm looking to make a decision in the next couple of days to either purchase the QP1R or the Onkyo DP-X1.

I've been through the majority of the thread but would like to know if you can use Tidal offline and store the files on the 128gb memory available via a card?

hello , with the onkyo i don't know but with the ar-m2 you can keep offline tidal albuns or playlist in the inside memory or external card ,you choose that, i believe that with onkyo will be the same

Play By Category > Artist > Albums is still broken. All Albums are still consolidated and sorted numerically.

I think I'll pass on this update.  The changes are all visual according to the release notes.  Nothing on playthrough.  I'm glad some of you got the larger font size.

It is very disappointing, given the wait.

I was hoping for an increase in library size ... I just need an increase to 15,000 songs.

I've also been waiting for the new firmware to fix my battery % indicator. Yesterday when I left work the player was at 84% and played for 2 hours. When I got home it was 81%. Next morning on the way to work the unit played another 3:20 hours before shutting down ... But the unit never went to 4% it just reset itself to 99% and kept playing until battery was dead. Upon plugging it in to charge the unit starts off reading 67% ... The battery is lasting as expected 8-10 hours but the % indicator is no where in-sync....

I guess I will install the firmware when I get home on a fully charged unit ... I hope that helps to 'reset' things

Having had this DAP for 2 months now, with my Oriolus IEM, simply brings a smile to my face everytime I use it. I cannot believe this can power HD800S standalone and I did not even reach max volume. Wow!

Any rumors of QP2-R?

How this basic function, can still be overlooked, is beyond what I can fathom. Ranting doesn't seem to do any good, so it is what it is. Maybe one day, if I still have the player!

I'm also disappointed that I'm still stuck to "browse files" to select my music , this is a firmware sidegrade rather than an upgrade.
Thankfully I've received a new partner for my QP1R to lift my spirits  

, after the Mee Audio Pinnacle P1 this is my second venture into high end IEM : Dunu DN-2002.


Inital impression : very good !
