Just out of curiosity guys, how long does your AP100's battery last? From fully-charged to totally drained...
Thanks in advance :)

OK, will try to remember to post a d/l link to the latest fw.

Regarding battery, I have been testing so many headphones lately, thus running a lot of burn in between my AP100 and X5, keeping them on a charger through the night.  So, never got an accurate battery endurance yet.  One thing I do want to note, if you are playing music or running headphone burn-in and AP100 runs out of battery - it shuts down and you need to reset it.  Happened to me twice already.

  Change log:
  • fixed no sound when playing
  • auto sleep when fully charged
  • stop auto restart after 100% charging
  • fixed battery calculation problem
  • fixed hang problem on frequent usb connection and disconnection

Finally! I'm glad I didn't post my copy of preliminary 067 since this update above has more fixes!

same question here. wanna know ap100's and x5's battery performance, which is better? thx, guys

X5 battery lasts longer, but since AP100 just released a new FW with fixes, I will have to test out new update to figure out the final battery life.

After updating the firmware, the language was changed to Chinese. Had to figure out by trial and error how to bring it back to English.

Didn't update mine yet, but thanks for the heads up!  I will take a note where/how to select English with my current firmware before I update.

Hi all, just started portable audio n my first dap is hidizs AP100.

Having used it for for 3 weeks and the old n new firmware I have noticed the following since firmware upgrade:

V67
Battery life @ 8 hours for flac files with src 24/192
Eq is different from 66 n 67 where 67 is more balanced n more treble
All the listed fixes were implemented.
NOTE the whole device is reset after update, including eq, language, saved playlists

Overall, the update is a positive one.

Cheers

Just add to favorites just one "favorite" playlist

Exactly, just need to "mark" songs individually as favorite to add to favorite playlist folder.  I heard in the future firmware update, they will have songs added to favorite marked with a star or something like that in the main playlist...  Still didn't install 067 firmware update.  Need to do it, and I'm glad I didn't post my preliminary version before since apparently it was fine-tuned further.

Okay thanks. It's not possible to make M3U playlist?

With Upsampler and equalizer Ap100 "kick Ass"!

I paired this with my newly purchased Oppo PM-2 and I think the combination is very, very good. Though the PM-2 is advertised to be easily driveable, I had to increase the volume to 50~60 whereas on my V-Moda M100 and Senn Momentum, the volume is set from 30 to less than 50.

I think i will use this combo for quite a while. :) I enjoy it immensely.
