Yes, I made the adapter myself.

On the XLR4:
pin1 = L+
pin2 = L-
pin3 = R+
pin4 = R-

On the XLR3's
pin1= nothing or shield
pin2 = positive
pin3 = negative

Many thanks!

Made from the same cable that I use on my T1, which was too long for my taste anyway. Great separation vs the normal HA200!

Hi
I just bought a Nuforce HA 200 from ebay
I have AKG Q701 64ohm and even if I max volume from both pc and amp the sound while being decently loud is far from ear shattering level. Even my ISDS nano BL gets higher.
Is there is something I should know ?
Tx

Yes there is, it only has a non def eatable 10db gain, so it is best used with DAC's that has a "pre-amp" function with a volume control.

well..it is connected to the above mentioned ISDS nano BL who has a volume control (although the ISDS nano has no impact on the volume whatsoever while in chain)..Im sorry, Im not an expert on this stuff.
What DAC's < 1k would you recommend for the Nuforce to really step in and take some names ?

If you need more gain, then use the headphone output from the iDSD instead of the lineout. Simple as that. There is no real risk to "double amping" as it were.

Can you seriously hear the different between class AB and pure A? I don't see myself spend even more than $150 (a chinese made brandless) class A amp.

If you don't hear the difference, then enjoy what you have and get off the crazy train that we all succumb to. Seriously, this is a money draining hobby where it's easy to get swept up into hype. I've done my fair share of evaluating and reviewing gear, going up into the thousand(s) dollar items. Not just amps, I can hear the difference in dacs, and honestly it's not even enjoyable anymore because I'm too critical of everything.
