Wow, glad to hear that you got your set of MG5pros and that they fit perfectly!

It's nice that everyone who has them agrees on their great instrumental vocal timbre, lifelike sound and tonal balance.

Enjoy!

At the risk of preaching to the choir, I gotta say that my MG5Pro is numero uno of all my iems! I have never before experienced such lifelike reproduction from an IEM! Why did I procrastinate so long!

I have now owned my MG5Pro's for about 2 months and have accumulated well over a hundred hours of use. I continue to find them at the very top of my list of IEM's that I have owned in the past or still own. The accuracy of tone and timbre plus the lifelike headstage still amaze me with each use. An added benefit is that the venting completely eliminates the plugged ear feeling that I get with most of my other phones. Despite the venting, isolation still remains excellent, even in noisy environments.

I also had my MG6Pro's remolded using the same impressions that were used for my MG5's. While the MG6Pro is likely the better choice for stage performers, to my ears, the MG5's provide the more lifelike and accurate presentation for audiophile use.

As many have stated previously, the Future Sonics customer service is among the very best!

curious, has anyone tried balanced cable with mg5pro or mg6pro?

I frequently use both my MG5Pro and MG6Pro with my balanced amp and they sound superb. IMO, the balanced configuration improves the stability of the soundstage and accuracy of imaging. I don't notice a significant difference in tonality or timbre.

Thanks for the reply HiFlight. Mind if you can share which balanced cable that you are using with your mg5pro? Reason for this question is because my current dap is Hifiman 901 and for the longest time i've been contemplating whether to try out the balanced feature. Also i'm eagerly awaiting for FS to send back my ciems as i've sent in my mg6pro to get refitted with the mg5pro drivers (just wanna try them out!)

I am using the Moon Audio Black Dragon modular cable. That cable allows me to use SE and balanced iBasso and Pono adapters without removing the base cable from my phones. I much prefer the copper Black Dragon over the Silver Dragon cables at least for IEM use.

Personally, I MUCH prefer the sound of the MG5Pro over the MG6 for non-stage use. Very well-balanced sound with superb instrumental and vocal timbre.

can you compare it to Se5 way or any accurate iem ?
For me it looks Iems in 100$-300$ are not far from 1000$-3000$  , and some of them are better and sound muscail and more accurate .
ex.: Flare r2 pro , sound more accurate and better in tonality than my roxanne .

Any comparisons to any other IEM would be a subjective opinion that very well might be different from that of another individual. Keep in mind that hearing is as individualistic as fingerprints.

I can say that to my ears, they sound about as close to "live" as I have heard.
