Here's how you change gain on the HA-006 series of amps.
See the green bracket and the resistor in it? That's the 10K resistor for 11x gain amps, change it to 2K and you get a 3x amp, change it to a nice short circuit and you get 1x gain. Just make sure you understand that the closer it is to 1x, the less of the amp's "flavor" is in the output.
